I have the huron in Farmer Brown for year now, i am wearing them everyday at work since i got them. It is hard floor, no carpet and i like the Vibram sole, still good, sure there is lees grip and it shows some wearing but i think i still have another year before needing a resole. Usually i do 8000 to 10000 steps in one day ... sometimes up to 15000. I conditioned them only two times during that first year and the leather is still in very good shape and the patina is quite good. I just changed the laces for leather laces, they were still ok but i wanted to do the switch because i prefer Leather laces on my boots.

this is the 2nd pair of these boots i have purchased. I wanted a second pair to leave at the office. They look good and are comfortable after a brief "breaking in period". My only negative comment is that the sole wears fairly quickly and will need to be replaced every few years, depending on usage.

I've been an ardent supporter and customer of Oliberte for years (since they were based out of Africa). This is likely my 5th or 6th purchase from them, and I'm quite happy. The shoe itself is comfortable, fits true-to-size, and looks great. This is my second purchase since they began using the Vibram soles, and I'll attest that my last pair has taken quite the beating yet still holds up well and looks great after cleaning and reconditioning. I'd imagine these will be similar - quality and care all around. Without a doubt my favorite shoe/boot company. The Huron doesn't disappoint.

I just received the Huron shoes. I used Hubbard Boot Grease to treat them right away and they are fabulous! Very comfy, more like a shoe than a boot, easy for walking or hiking. The grease does darken the colour but it looks great. I love that they are made in Canada. I will definitely be looking at other products from Oliberte.

Purchased a second pair because they're that great. I bought a pair in 2019 and fell in love with them, so bought a second pair on sale. The first pair is nowhere near wearing out or needing replaced...they're just so good I wanted a second pair in case they ever stop making them.

I ordered the Huron chukka in baseball brown. The leather in person is really nice looking, better than the pictures for me. Sizing was right on. I like the look and feel of the soles. They are a little thinner than other similar styled boots, but still thick enough to be casual and comfortable. Getting these 1/2 off with free shipping was a tremendous value.

Good looking boots. one and one-half day break in, very comfortable.
